Watermist Lance

The T-ISS Watermist Lance & Penetration Hammer meet SOLAS II-2/10.7.3 regulations for extinguishing fires in confined spaces, such as container fires. This model is also suited for flooding EV car lithium batteries to cool them during a fire. Operating this water mist solution is straight forward yet highly effective, with instructions provided in the manual.

Constructed from stainless steel, the lances top shaft is PE-coated to prevent electric shock. When connected to a water supply, it generates a mist inside the container. The shaft is adjustable from 500mm to 1350mm. As per regulat ions, vessels built on or after January 1, 2016, and designed to carry containers on or above the weather deck must carry at least one watermist lance.

How to use

The Watermist Lance is designed for extinguishing fires in enclosed spaces, such as fighting container fires onboard ships. It can also be used to flood a lithium battery during a car fire; in this case, the lance must be inserted directly into
the battery.
